Your use (accessing, browsing, buying, etc.) of this site is your legal agreement to the policies, terms and conditions below. Paragonhouse.com products, prices, and availability may differ from Paragon Houses distributor, Baker&Taylor Publisher Services, or retail stores.

Paragon Book Reprint Corp, Inc., dba Paragon House, is required by law to collect sales tax for New York and Minnesota on all purchases made at paragonhouse.com. Tax is calculated automatically through the WooCommerce tax plugin.

Customer Information, Comments and Feedback
Paragon House does not rent, sell or otherwise forward your name to other companies. Please see our Privacy Policy Statement for more information about your confidentiality. Comments or ideas transmitted to this site become the sole property of Paragon House and may be shared to expand or improve the functionality of the site or of our product or service offerings or for any other reason.

Paying by Credit Card
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover in the United States. We do not add any credit card surcharges. You can order online using our secure checkout through Square, or pay with your credit card by phone. We do not add any credit card surcharges. We do not store any credit card information on our server. All credit card processing is done through Squqre, one of the largest and most secure online credit card processing systems. Please see our Privacy Policy Statement for more information about your credit card safety. You can contact your credit card company by calling the 1-800 number on the back of your credit card.

Paying by Pay Pal
Paragon House accepts payment through PayPal. Check the PayPal option on checkout. PayPal is convenient for international payments where currency conversion fees are minimal.

Checks, Money Orders, and Other Forms of Payment
Orders are held until payment is received and based on stock on hand on the date that payment is received. Paragon House cannot guarantee a shipping date until payment is received.

Tax Exemption
If you are sales-tax exempt in Minnesota or New York, please call us at 1-800-447-3709 (Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Central Time) to pre-qualify. For your convenience, your information will be kept on file for future purchases.

Shipping
Continental U.S. Shipments
If your package is lost or damaged, please send us an e-mail at orders@paragonhouse.com or contact our Customer Service Center at 1-800-447-3709.

International Shipments
We do not process any international shipments through our website. We will ship internationally by special arrangement depending on whether the books are available in our Minnesota warehouse, or whether you use a freight forwarder from a US address. Please send us an e-mail at orders@paragonhouse.com, and we can discuss individual arrangements.

Online pricing specifications and availability
Although Internet orders generate an automatic confirmation and response e-mail, Paragon House may change its pricing, product description or specification after any order confirmation or response e-mail, but before shipment, due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or unavailability, typographical errors, or any other reason.

We will notify you of any corrections or changes and ask for your approval before we complete your order. We will not complete your order until we have your approval.

Warranties
Paragon House warrants its books against manufacturing defects. Manufacturing defects include missing pages and other printing and assembly errors. They do not include copy-editing or typesetting errors. Books purchased from Paragon House that contain manufacturing defects may be returned for a free replacement within 30 days of purchase.

Returns Policy
Retail
Undamaged books purchased from paragonhouse.com may be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase. Before returning books, a return authorization must first be received from Paragon House. This is to verify that the product was purchased directly from us and not some other seller. A restocking fee of 10% will be applied to all returns and the customer will pay for return shipping and package adequately to prevent damage. No refund will be made for damaged books.

Wholesale
Bookstores and wholesalers who purchase books for resale may return undamaged and unsold inventory in the original shrink-wrapped condition within a period of one year from the date of purchase. Before returning books, a return authorization must first be received from Paragon House. This is to verify that the product was purchased directly from us and not some other seller. A restocking fee of 10% will be applied to all returns and the customer will pay for return shipping and package adequately to prevent damage. No refund will be made for damaged books.

Non-Returnable Sales
Items purchased at non-returnable rates may not be returned unless they are defective. Items purchased at a non-returnable discount rate may not be returned unless they are defective. In the case of a defect Paragon House will exchange the item for a non-defective unit. If Paragon House is unable to replace the defective item, it will refund the purchase price.

Clearance Products
ALL CLEARANCE PRODUCTS PURCHASED FROM THIS WEBSITE CANNOT BE RETURNED UNLESS THEY CONTAIN MANUFACTURING DEFECTS. In the case of a defect Paragon House will exchange the item for a non-defective unit. If Paragon House is unable to replace the defective item, it will refund the purchase price.

Shipping fees will not be refunded if shipment is refused at time of delivery.

Refunds on purchases made with a credit card will be posted to the original credit card used at the time of sale.

Links to Third Party Sites
Links to third-party sites will let you leave Paragon House’s site. The linked sites are not under the control of Paragon House and Paragon House is not responsible for the contents of any linked site or any link contained in a linked site or any changes or updates to such sites. Paragon House reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating its website. IN NO EVENT SHALL PARAGON BOOK REPRINT CORP, INC., ITS PARENT, SUBSIDIARIES, OR AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, OR AGENTS (PARAGON HOUSE PARTIES) BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR PROFITS), HOWEVER CAUSED, WHETHER FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHERWISE, AND WHETHER OR NOT PARAGON HOUSE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH DAMAGES. YOU AGREE THAT THE PARAGON HOUSE PARTIES MAXIMUM LIABILITY ARISING FROM ANY PRODUCT SOLD BY PARAGON HOUSE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PRICE OF SUCH PRODUCT.
